The spokespersons are the member of the Executive Board and the Members' Assembly. They are representing the Institute for Advanced Studies within the scope of the powers determined by legal regulations. The spokespersons are also responsible for the proper administration of funds and compliance with the overall budget and the monitoring of reporting obligations, the supervision of the administration and accounting of funds, including compliance with the procedure for the internal distribution of funds. Furthermore, they participate in the hiring and dismissal of employees who are paid from the Wissenschaftskolleg's funds. They are also responsible for the day-to-day business of the Executive Board and coordinate with the deputy speakers to the extent necessary.
